PSALM 124

1–2 minutes

Had not the Lord been with us, let us say,
When men arose, their wrath against us burned,
They’d swallowed us, their flood had swept away,
The raging waters o’er our souls had turned.
Blessed be the Lord, who freed us from their snare,
Like birds escaped, their trap in pieces torn.
Our help is God, who made the earth and air,
His name our trust, our refuge ever born.
