The man is blessed who walks not in this way:
The counsel of the wicked, nor doth stand
In sinners’ way, nor sits where scorners sway,
But in the LORD’s law finds delight at hand.
Both day and night, he meditates therein,
Like planted tree by streams of water pure,
Whose fruit in season comes, leaf fresh and green,
All that he does shall prosper and endure.
Not so the wicked; they are chaff that flies
Before the wind, in judgment shall not stand,
Nor sinners with the righteous in their guise.
The LORD knows righteous paths across the land;
The wicked’s way shall perish from His sight.
